High School Art Competition

Theme: TRANS/FORM/ATION

Open to all high school students across South Africa
Entries close: 23 rd September 2022

The Sacred Heart College Art Competition was born out of a need to provide art students with a  greater sense of community, opportunities to develop their artistic practice and exhibition experience. A platform of artistic excellence as well as broadening the awareness of the necessity for the arts in education. The theme TRANS/FORM/ATION challenges these young artists to tease out the deeper concepts, meanings and relevance of these words and expressions. Sacred Heart College positions itself as a place of true inclusion, diversity and transformation. This competition allows artists to grapple with these notions.
