On 31 July, Sacred Heart College hosted its annual Creativity and Collaboration (C&C) Evening, celebrating the love of learning, project-based learning and STEAM from Grade 1 to Grade 9 throughout Term 2.
Each grade presented unique projects that showcased student creativity, collaboration and innovation. In the Foundation Phase, Grade 1s explored how animals and plants support people and the environment, with a focus on kindness and care. Grade 2s investigated plant growth through seeds and seedlings and explored the solar system through creative projects. Grade 3s demonstrated their understanding of vertebrates, the water cycle and plant life through engaging displays and activities.
The Intermediate Phase highlighted a variety of creative learning experiences. Grade 4s shared responses inspired by Charlotte’s Web, Grade 5s presented English projects based on Luca alongside pottery creations, Grade 6s showcased lightning-themed presentations, and Grade 7s displayed interdisciplinary work from subjects including Natural Sciences, Social Sciences and Music.
Our Grade 8 students explored luxury branding by designing their own luxury products, while Grade 9 students redesigned the Physical Education and formal school uniforms, incorporating feedback from the school community.
