Our Primary School students from Grade 1 to Grade 7 impressed everyone with their creativity, confidence and culinary talents at Super Chef 2026. The event was a wonderful celebration of teamwork, innovation and a love for cooking, with every participant giving their very best.
Activities like Super Chef provide students with valuable opportunities to develop important life skills, including teamwork, communication, creativity, problem-solving, confidence and time management. They also encourage students to explore their interests, develop independence and learn the value of preparation and perseverance.
A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated teachers for serving as judges and helping make the competition such a success. We also extend our sincere appreciation to our esteemed guest judges, SHC alumnus Sechaba Ramogase (Class of 1998) and Chef Junior Kotane, Executive Chef at 1947 on Vilakazi Street, for generously sharing their knowledge, encouragement and expertise with our students.
