For 37 years, Mindworks has brought students, parents, and staff together for a week of creativity, discovery, and hands-on learning that inspires lifelong memories. The 2026 theme, Rising from the Ashes, centred around the phoenix, with many activities reflecting this symbol of growth and renewal.
Students enjoyed a wide variety of experiences, including a visit to Sci-Bono, where they explored scientific concepts through interactive exhibits. They learned about electric circuits, fossils, and the science behind everyday objects, while live science experiments and simple chemical reactions sparked curiosity and excitement.
Creative activities included baking cookies, making phoenix masks, decorating tote bags, creating handprint artwork, making instruments, Edu-Dance, drama, doodling, parkour, orienteering, a Phoenix Run, and a visit to Snake City. These enriching experiences created three memorable days of learning and fun.
